‘Equal Opportunities for Inclusive Life’


Monitoring-Supervision of the courses piloted in the Fall semester 2022

With the aim of course monitoring - supervision foreign colleagues have visited Georgia from the following universities: the University of Warsaw (UW), Transilvania University of Brașov (UTBV), Palacký University Olomouc (PUO), and Philipps-Universität Marburg (UMR). EU partners have monitored the courses piloted during the Fall Semester of 2022. For course monitoring the EU partners visited Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU), Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University (BSU), and Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University (ATSU).
The following courses have been monitored according to the universities:

TSU:
- Teaching methodology and developmental features for pupils with the visual and hearing impairments;
- Teaching students with emotional and behavioral disorders.

BSU:
- Teaching methodology and developmental features for the visually impaired;
- Methodology of Teaching Children with Learning Disabilities;
- Working with students with autism spectrum disorder at school;

TeSaU:
- Teaching Methodology for Students with Language, Speech and Communication Disorders;
- The methodology of teaching students with intellectual disabilities;
- Methodology of Teaching Children with Learning Disabilities;

ATSU:
- Teaching Methodology for Students with Language, Speech and Communication Disorders. Also, European colleagues carried out thematic seminars for the special teachers from the project partner school in Tbilisi, Batumi, Telavi, and Kutaisi.
The following seminars have been carried out according to the locations:
- Tbilisi: Behavioral disorders – prevention and impact on education
- Telavi: (1) Developing Behavior Plans for Children with Challenging Behavior and (2) Discipline of Students with Special Needs
- Kutaisi: Basics of working with pupils with emotional and behavioral disorders
- Batumi: Basic Principles of inclusive Learning - UDL
